AMULET BAG
I made this up sitting at the laundrymat.
Needed: scrap yarn (i got 7 of these out of a 2.5 oz skein of yarn), G hook, 2 pony beads
Notes: worked in cont. rounds
Put the pony beads on the yarn before starting.
ch 9, sc in 2nd chain from hook and in each until end, using free loops on other side, sc over tail until you get back to start. keep sc around, when you finish rnd 5, sc to middle of front and add beads in, this is how you'll keep it closed. keep going until 10 rnds are made. ch 125 for the necklace, attach with sl st, making sure there are 8 sp across the back. sc across back for 3 rows, then dec one off each end until you reach a point. ch 4, attach with sl st to top of point. end off, work in end.

Thank you for posting this cute, seemingly simple, little crochet amulet bag pattern. I am in the process of teaching myself crochet, therefor simple is best, and have been looking to purchase an amulet bag, so you can imagine my excitement to have found this pattern! My only question is, what are the finished dimensions? As a novice, I wish to be certain these loops are behaving as they should. Thank you in advance. :)
